Maybe the only way to contribute is to create. Trough creation, by creating, many things arise. First there is nothing, and then, you created something. Something that did not exist before. There might be similar things floating around, very similar even, but it will never be completely the same as your creation. That in itself is a magical thing. Sometimes your creation can be so that it touches a lot of people, sometimes only a few, and maybe even nobody but yourself.
Nevertheless, your creation can be exemplary and inspiring. Others might start creating because of your creation, how small or big that is. This maelstrom of grand and small creation leads to an abundance of creation from which the most beautiful and interesting work bubbles up. The ones that make you laugh and cry, dance and hold still, the ones that make you think or make you forget the world.
That is why this is important to me.

This music has been created partly in Belgium and France. On august 25 the album will be released and available to stream in full for 24 hours on www.ellisdaisy.com, accompanied by film footage made between these two places, during the final stages of finishing the album.
